Construction

Bocce court construction involves excavation, drainage, base prep (crushed stone and/or concrete), timber or concrete curbing, and surfacing. Bocce court surfaces can be synthetic turf (sand-filled or nylon), Har-Tru or oyster shell flour. Many years of expereince in bocce court construction has shown that a sand-filled synthetic turf bocce surface will give the best combination of drainage, playability, ball roll, and the least amount of maintenance. Southwest Greens also offers concrete, brick, paver, and bluestone walks and patios for your bocce court. We offer staining of wood curbing and walls and we install bocce ball racks, scoreboards, and seating areas. If you need shade for your bocce court, we can build and install a custom pergola or plant shade trees to protect you from the hot afternoon sun. We are also builders of putting greens, basketball courts, tennis courts, and shuffleboard courts throughout the New Jersey and Philadelphia area.
